Use only one ashtray and force yourself to take it from room to room. Avoid smoking after meals or when you are anxious. Make yourself wait. Smoking is a major cause of house fires. That fact does little to deter smoking because the habit is so pervasive that unless you launch an all out attack on it you will always have trouble stopping.
